Real Madrid 2-2 AC Milan

One of Europe's greatest rivalries ended in a draw today when the Italians fought back from a two-goal deficit to tie with the last kick of the game.
Luka set up Mattia for the opening goal and Journo toe-poked it past a surprised Danilo. Poor kick-outs then gave Luka and Mattia a chance each to stretch the lead but they were unable to finish.
In the second half, the Spanish Champions continued to play the better football and Luka made it 2-0.
Slowly though, Milan worked their way back into it and, when referee Corcoran awarded a free-kick against Daviide for time-wasting, Simone blasted it home.
Spurred on by their goal, Milan now took over and peppered Cristian's goal with shots. Some were wide, some were saved but, in the end, one got through to tie the score at 2-2.

BEST PLAYER POINTS: Simone 6, Cesare 4, Mattia J 3, Christian 3, Luka 2, Danilo 1, David 1, Ludovico 1

Argentina 2 - 0 Italy

PLAYER OF THE MATCH POINTS: Julia 5, Lavinia 4,  Valeria 2, Sofia 2, Priscilla 2, Emma 2, Delfina 1, Giulia 1, Mallika 1, Zoe 1.

Ajax 5-0 Liverpool

The Merseysiders got off to a disastrous start this year in the Premier league and now in the Ambrit Intramural too. Giovanni worked a good chance early on after a neat move involving Jacopo and Jonathan and his shot was narrowly over. But that was the last time that Liverpool threatened in the first half. Ajax took over. Antoine opened the scoring with a glancing backward header, Mattia made it 2-0 with a long shot which Ale inexplicably allowed to go past him unchallenged. Francesco scored a third with the help of a lucky deflection.
No change in the second half. The Dutch players managed to string their passing together within the four-touch rule but their opponents could not. Marco scored the fourth from a narrow angle and Stuart crowned an excellent performance with a cooly-taken goal from the left.

BEST PLAYER POINTS: Marco 7, Stuart 3, Mattia M 3, Jacopo 2, Antoine 2, Nawin 2, AleP 1, Tommaso R. 1

Barcelona 5 - 2 Bayern Munich

What a debut for Filippo! The sixth-grade sensation scored all five goals in his team's rout of a disappointing Bayern and rushed to the top of the scoring charts. Barcelona's passing was better throughout the game and, even if some of his goals owed something to fortune, Filippo's positioning and goal sense mark him out as a natural goalscorer.
The Germans never gave up hope though with Andrea and Sam scoring deserved consolation goals.

PLAYER OF THE MATCH POINTS:
Luca R 4, Filippo C 4, Hans 4, Luca C 2, Emilio 1, Alex V 1, Danyal 1, Sam 1, Stefano 1, Joshua 1, Lorenzo 1

Brasil 3 - 0 Germany

PLAYER OF THE MATCH POINTS: Lucrezia 5, Camilla 4, Greta 4, Livia 3, Orsola 1, Olivia 1, Mina 1, Ginevra 1, Annika 1.

8T 8-1 8C

Following their penalty shoot-out win in the morning, 8T mercilessly rifled in eight goals against a defenceless 8C. Luca Cerri opened the scoring with two well-taken goals and David scored a third before half time.
In the second half, Camilla hit the target FOUR times and the other goal came from Julia. Giovanni scored the only goal for 8C but it was a jewel!
BEST PLAYERS: Giovanni & Julia

8G 1-1 8T

A clearly superior 8T failed to press home their advantage after David gave them the lead in the first half. In the second half, Mr Corcoran awarded a series of controversial decisions to 8G which finished with James rattling in an own goal after a free kick on the edge of the area.
8C await the winners of a penalty shoot-out.

BEST PLAYERS: Camilla, Allegra.

First Matches

7DT 2-0 7F

Wins for 7DT and 6Ca opened the 2012-13 season and whetted everybody's appetite for the rest of this year's matches. 7DT played some very nice passing football and their key players looked fresh, despite their recent trip to Bellaria for the National finals. Their goals came from Marco and Joshua, two players who everybody will be hoping to find in their team next week.
BEST PLAYERS: Tommaso, Livia

6Ca 1-0 6D
6D did most of the attacking in this game but the more direct style employed by 6Ca turned out to be more effective. the only goal of the game came when Jacopo latched onto a long pass forward from Hans and beat the goalkeeper with a well-placed shot to the bottom corner.
BEST PLAYERS: Hans, Sofia

Autumn Intramural

Here we go again!
The Autumn Intramural Leagues are about to start with two big changes, both designed to improve the quality of play:
In the BOYS category, each player is limited to FOUR touches any time he receives the ball.
In the GIRLS category, matches will be FIVE-A-SIDE on the small pitch.

Good luck!
